TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to Ordo Daily. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ordo Daily ("the Service"), operated by Ordo Daily ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ordo Daily. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You may not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
Ordo Daily offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full payment card details. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
4. Refund Policy
Monthly subscriptions: refunds available within 7 days of initial purchase if no Pro features were used. Annual subscriptions: refunds available within 30 days of initial purchase, prorated. Founding Member lifetime purchases: refunds available within 14 days. After these windows, all sales are final.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service; (d) use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others; (e) upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates rights of others; (f) interfere with the operation of the Service.
6. AI Features and Outputs
Ordo Daily includes AI-powered features that generate insights, reflections, and suggestions. AI outputs are generated by third-party providers and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not apply to your situation. You should not treat AI outputs as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological). You use AI features at your own discretion.
7. Not Medical or Professional Advice
Ordo Daily is a personal productivity and self-tracking tool. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, financial, legal, or professional advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a licensed professional or crisis service (in the US: dial or text 988).
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all designs, code, text, graphics, and features, is owned by Ordo Daily and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content you create (journal entries, goals, notes, missions) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORDO DAILY AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Ordo Daily from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Massachusetts, United States, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit. This clause does not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
